He has been Director of 3 state government training colleges (Child Safety, Communities and Health) and has a keen understanding of workforce development. Summary
Tammy delivers non accredited cultural awareness training. Over 20 years-experience in State Government departments including Child Safety Services, Department of Communities, Department of the Premier and Cabinet, Queensland Health and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships. I am a Jirrabul woman with strong cultural ties in far north Queensland. My dexterity includes the coordination of programs, culturally competent human service delivery and experience working in child safety, health, education and the non- Government sector. I have experience in the supervision of staff and implementing strategic planning processes within an organisational management framework. In addition, I am competent in the management of strategic projects and the impact within Indigenous communities.

Duties/Activities (2007-2009)
Key responsibility for Council of Australian Government (COAG) agenda supporting the Premier on topics such as homelessness, Indigenous policy, Education, Early Childhood and Torres Strait Treaty.
Support the COAG Indigenous Health Sub Working Group including secretariat functions and writing the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander National Partnership Agreement.
Provide high level briefings and advice in relation to the COAG agenda specifically as it pertains to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples wellbeing and safety and in closing the gap on disadvantage to the Premier and Director-General. Coordinate and critique whole of government briefings through the COAG process as they pertain to the Indigenous agenda.

Designed and implemented operating policy and protocols in consultation with Queensland Police Service and other community based service providers

Established and coordinated a training program for staff who were going to be involved in the process
Brett Barber is an A/Inspector with the Queensland Police Service with more than 27 years of service in Queensland.
Brett has provided leadership in areas such as child protection & juvenile justice and taskforce Argos. As well as the Royal Commission of Child Protection 2012.
Brett received and Australia Day Award for his services to the Redcliffe Community as Detective Senior Sergeant and IOC of the Redcliffe Child Protection Investigation Unit. Brett holds a Diploma of Policing, Cert IV TAE, Graduate Certificate in Police Management, Graduate Diploma in Strategic Leadership.
